Oh! The Places You'll Go!

Never before, never again
has any one said
as much in as little as 
Doctor Seuss did.

His books were for children,
I was taught as a lad,
but the words still have meaning,
haven't past, like a fad

Three cheers for the Doctor,
the best of the best.
And hooray for his lessons.
They've past all the test.

My mother read this one to me three times a day;
With a spoon full of sugar, like a medicine, I say.
We all share a childhood, some free of care,
while others have trouble and worry to bear.

It's the choices we make, day in and day out;
that make our experience different, no doubt.
The one thing you'll say when the end comes about
Is people you've shared with are the important amount.

So enough with the rhyming, the tribute to Seuss
It's the start, the beginning;
